6ix9ine has found himself at the edge of a potential financial cliff thanks to his failure to respond in a timely manner to demands made in a civil trial.
According to court documents obtained by HipHopDX, the “GUMMO” rapper made several unsuccessful efforts to try to get the nearly $10 million judgment filed against him by dancer Alexis Salaberrios dismissed.
As a result, a receiver was appointed on November 29 to make sure that the rapper (real name Daniel Hernandez) would turn his assets over for potential sale to satisfy the judgment.
This means that 6ix9ine’s assets — including a Florida mansion and his Rolls Royce — may be sold off by the receiver to cover the judgment amount. While the option exists, however there’s no indication that the sale of the rapper’s property will, in fact, happen.
While relevant motions opposing this final judgment were required to be filed by Friday (December 15), as of this writing the court docket doesn’t show any additional efforts made by 6ix9ine’s attorneys.
This would indicate that either the motions haven’t been filed; or that the court dockets have not been updated.

In November, Axios Miami reported that the 27-year-old is being held responsible for hitting a dancer named Alexis Salaberrios in the head with a champagne bottle. As a result, a Florida jury awarded her $9.8 million in damages after the defendant didn’t show up to his civil trial over the summer.
The incident in question took place at the Gold Rush strip club in Miami, Florida back in 2021, following which the victim took Tekashi to court.
Salaberrios has since claimed to have not received her compensation from the rapper, who she claimed has been concealing his assets and income to avoid paying her. She subsequently proposed seizing his earnings to fulfil the court order, which the court subsequently granted.
Meanwhile, 6ix9ine‘s girlfriend, Yailin La Más Viral, has been charged with felony assault following the release of footage of the couple in a physical altercation.
According to arrest records obtained by HipHopDX, the Dominican rapper (real name Jeorjina Guillermo Diaz) was arrested in Palm Beach County, FL, in the early hours of Friday (December 15).
She was charged with felony battery, aggravated battery with a deadly weapon, obstruction of justice, and criminal damage to property worth $1000 or more. A surety bond of $9,000 was posted for her by record producer Santiago “Alofoke” Matias, courtesy of 561 Bail Bonds.
Footage from the “GUMMO” rapper’s Instagram seemed to capture the argument in real time. The story, which was posted shortly before Yailin was arrested, began with 6ix9ine writing — in Spanish — that “Yailin needs help,” and that he was remaining quiet about the whole situation until he could no longer do so for her protection.
Later in the video, the pair can be seen arguing extensively, and at one point, Yailin uses a 2 x 6 to smash 6ix9ine’s phone out of his hand. The pair can also be seen tussling with one another before Yailin is carted off to jail.
