21 Savage Launches New Dice & Card Deck, Adin Ross Scam A Stunt? Leave a comment

21 Savage‘s new dice and card deck has fans believing that the long-running scam between himself and Adin Ross was little more than a marketing stunt.

An eagle-eyed fan noticed that Savage’s official website featured branded dice available for purchase for $25, and decks of cards available for $15 each. That prompted fans to congregate in the comment section of Our Generation Music’s Instagram post on Saturday (February 3) to call shenanigans on the whole controversy.

“Lowkey feel like the whole “21 savage scamming” thing was a marketing scheme to make him look hard again since he’s kind of lost that image since working with drake,” wrote one commenter, while another wrote, “I’m fully convinced now. All internet beef is fake free marketing.”

And still another wrote, “I mean I ain’t buying that shit lmao decent marketing though.”

The controversy began when the Atlanta rapper allegedly tried to scam Ross for $120,000 over a high-stakes contest on the streamer’s Kick channel. During the card game, the American Dream rapper was caught using what appeared to be marked cards after his opponent gambled $120,000 and lost.

When Ross noticed that he had been scammed while inspecting the cards they played with, 21 Savage denied having any prior knowledge of the markings.

Ross addressed the chat after showing the rap star the marked cards, saying: “Listen, I’ma be honest, chat, they’re not his cards. I know he’s not gonna do that to me.”

The two then shifted their focus and discussed how they should move forward, eventually agreeing to play each other at NBA 2K so that the streamer could have an opportunity to win back his money.

Soon after, social media users tried breaking down exactly how 21 Savage might have used marked cards to scam Adin. In a clip shared on Twitter, the British-American rapper could be seen opening a new pack of traditional red playing cards in front of the streamer.

However, when Adin wasn’t paying attention, he passed the cards to one of his friends in the background, who in turn passed back a deck of marked cards and pointed out exactly where the marked cards were in the mixed-up pile.

These details, of course, are speculation.

Then on Friday (February 2), Kai Cenat went live and hopped on a phone call with his peer, who said that the controversy traces back to someone on the rapper’s team.

“[21 Savage] spoke to me last night on camera,” Ross told Cenat. “It was somebody around him that he said he should have cut off and shit, and I’m like, ‘Yeah,’ and he sent the money — he sent me $250K.

“We’re playing dice and cards, bro. Just don’t cheat.”
