Boosie Badazz Recalls His Car Getting Shot Up Leave a comment

Boosie Badazz has gone through plenty of trials and tribulations, and he recently recalled a few of the most harrowing over breakfast.

The rapper went live on social media, while apparently eating breakfast alone at a restaurant.

A comment telling him not to go out like PnB Rock, who was killed under similar circumstances, got the commenter blocked, but it also put Boosie in a reflective mood.

“When it’s your time to die, you’re gonna die. That’s what you gotta accept,” he began in the clip, which you can watch in full below.

That sparked the Louisiana rapper to reflect on some times he’d been in serious danger but remained unscathed because, “When it ain’t your time, it ain’t your time.”

“I done been in a car that, whole car got shot up,” he recalled. “Bullets all through the side of my window, by my face. Didn’t get touched. A whole car shot up, and not one bullet touched me. Twice, matter of fact.”

In addition to the two situations Boosie described, he was involved in a different vehicular shooting back in 2020.

That November, TMZ reported that the outspoken Baton Rouge native was shot in the leg during a visit to Dallas. Boosie had been parading around the Texas city in a sprinter van most of the day when somebody opened fire on the vehicle, striking Boosie in the leg.

The shooters quickly fled the scene, while Boosie and his entourage made their way to a hospital. He was reportedly treated for a gunshot wound below the knee and admitted in stable condition.

He later showed off his injuries from the shooting in a music video.

The clip for “Lost For Words” puts his graphic injury on display.

Not only does Boosie show off the aftermath of the shooting in the video, but also the numerous surgeries required to remove bullet fragments and put screws into his foot. He also needed several staples and stitches from his thigh down past his knee.

But there was a happy ending to the story — the “Lost For Words” video also features Boosie recovering at home surrounded by his family and friends.
