Boosie Badazz has revealed his top 5 rappers of all time and also shown interest in putting together a live set for NPR.

During a chat with CBS Sports that went live in early February, former NFL cornerback Bryant McFadden asked the Baton Rouge rhymer to chime in on the GOAT conversation and name his favorite MCs of all time.

In true Bad Azz fashion, the rapper saluted “those who raised me.”

“Me, 2Pac, DMX — I always say Juvenile because he raised me. I say the people who raised me,” he said. “Scarface — he’s so underrated.”

Upon hearing him praise the Geto Boys spitter, the host brought up the veteran’s Tiny Desk concert and even proposed that Boosie make an appearance on the series himself, which the controversial rapper endorsed.

“I’ll make it bigger than a Tiny Desk, I swear,” he added laughingly.

In December, the Rap-A-Lot Records MC secured a coveted Tiny Desk concert slot, delivering a dynamic 30-minute set featuring crowd favorites such as “On My Block,” “Mary Jane,” and “Smile.”

The success of the performance resulted in the 53-year-old announcing the Brad “Scarface” Jordan Behind The Desk Experience. The 25-day tour will commence in Miami, FL on March 10 and run for a little over a month, with the final show scheduled for Charlotte, NC on April 14.

In similar news, Boosie showed love to yet another musician while spending Valentine’s Day with his daughter.

Last week, the proud father took Laila Jean Hatch to watch the newly released Bob Marley: One Love. The biopic explores the life and legacy of the Jamaican singer-songwriter. In a clip posted to his Instagram, the “Ungrateful” MC could be seen sitting inside the theatre cosplaying the title character of the film. Soon after leaving the venue, he was spotted keeping a straight face with his costume still on.

Whereas the late Rastafarian is a beloved figure in music and beyond, not all the artists Boosie admires are revered with the same passion. Last week, the Louisiana rapper suggested that R. Kelly would have put on an “amazing” Super Bowl Halftime Show if the circumstances were different and he wasn’t locked up.

Taking to Twitter soon after Usher’s performance at the NFL event, the 41-year-old shared his dream set list for the hypothetical show by the disgraced singer, who he’s shown love to multiple times before despite his fall from grace.

“IF RKELLY WOULDNT HAVE GOT N TROUBLE HIS SONGS WOULD BE AMAZING AT A SUPERBOWL HALFTIME SHOW!!” he wrote. “I CAN HEAR THAT VOICE NOW ‘I BELIEVE I CAN FLY,’ ‘STEP N THE NAME OF LOVE,’ ‘I WISH I WISH I WISH,’ ‘THE WORLDS GREATEST,’ ‘FIESTA FIESTA,’ ‘WHEN A WOMAN LOVES’ then ‘SAME GIRL’ N BRING USHER out OMG!! #letskeepitreal”
