DaniLeigh has learned that she will not be facing any jail time for her DUI hit and run accident last summer, but the victim’s civil lawsuit is still pending.
According to court documents obtained by HipHopDX, on Thursday (February 1), DaBaby‘s baby mama pleaded no contest to two charges — a DUI causing serious injury, which is a felony; and a DUI, which is a misdemeanor.
The remaining two charges stemming from the incident — one felony charge of leaving the scene of a crime, and one misdemeanor charge of DUI — have been adjourned in contemplation of dismissal, which means they will be dismissed if the model and actress (real name Danielle Leigh Curiel) successfully completes her five years of probation. Her probation is scheduled to start today, and will be completed in 2029.
The civil lawsuit filed by the victim in the case, however, is still pending in Miami-Dade Civil Court. Check out the filings below.

Last May, DaniLeigh was booked after she hit a person on a moped and attempted to flee the scene.
Eyewitnesses who claim to have seen the accident, allege the victim was dragged for about a block after DaniLeigh was seen swerving in and out of lanes at high speeds.
Paperwork obtained by TMZ said cops caught up with the singer and allegedly smelled alcohol on Dani who failed a field sobriety test and took a breathalyzer where she blew nearly twice the legal limit (0.148).
She was then arrested and booked on three felonies which include “driving under the influence, leaving the scene of a crash with serious bodily injury, and DUI damage to property.”
As for the victim driving the motorized scooter, they were transported to a local hospital where they were diagnosed with a lacerated kidney and fractured spine as a result of the crash.
And that’s not the only legal issue surrounding the model and actress, as her baby daddy DaBaby is currently facing a serious lawsuit filed by her brother stemming from a fight in a bowling alley.
According to court documents obtained by Radar Online, Corbin Bowl in LA, has filed an answer denying any wrongdoing alleged by Brandon Bills (real name Brandon Curiel), who is currently suing the venue and the “Suge” rapper for damages stemming from a fight that took place back in February 2022.
Bills has alleged that Corbin Bowl had a duty to protect him from the assault; however, it’s the alley’s position that they were under no legal obligation to do so. Bills is also seeking an unspecified amount in damages.
If a judge rules in the bowling alley’s favor, the legal responsibility for the lawsuit will fall squarely on DaBaby’s shoulders.
