Fabolous has disputed N.O.R.E’s flex about being the first recipient of a new product by one of the world’s biggest luxury fashion houses.
On Tuesday (February 20), the Drink Champs host shared a series of clips on Instagram in which he unboxed a package from Louis Vuitton and showed off a pair of earphones (which he kept referring to as headphones) the brand had sent him.
“I found out that Louis’ making headphones, so I wanted to officially say I’m the first rapper with the headphones,” he said. “No disrespect, Soulja Boy, I love you.”
Pointing out the item’s rich packaging, he added: “That’s Lion King headphones right there — gold and black, baby!”
Not even an hour after the post went live, Fab hopped in the comments section of the social media post to burst his peer’s bubble with: “You’re the 1st to post it lol.”

In similar news, Tyler, The Creator shared his debut collection for the designer brand earlier this week and even took the opportunity to thank Pharrell Williams during his reveal.
The IGOR rapper took to Instagram in late February to unveil his first offering with Louis Vuitton, of which Skateboard P is the Men’s Creative Director.
The post reads: “A Louis Vuitton collection by TYLER OKONMA. hand drawn craggy monogram. chess board is my favorite thing ive made. thank you @pharrell i love you, you keep throwing me the keys. the @louisvuitton team thank yall for allowing these ideas come to life.
“Thank you @darrenvongphakdy we really ran in there like we ran the place. and @missrazavi and @luisperezdop we the trio for real [pink heart with stars emoji] ive been making clothes since i was 13, sheesh.”
Tyler’s post also included photos of him hanging with the Neptunes producer, who he has long cited as his biggest influence, plus his LV identification card which reads: “Sir Tyler Okonma.”
In a second Instagram post, Tyler, The Creator offered a closer look at his inaugural Louis Vuitton collection, which includes preppy-inspired items like a cricket sweater, short suit, windbreaker, puffer jacket, sandals, travel chess set and a Courrier Lozine 110 trunk worth €68,000 (roughly $73,500).
He also revealed that the collection will be arriving on March 21.
“I wanted to mix my style and louis vuittons codes together in a way that felt slightly whimsical but could still be worn to the gas station on a tuesday,” the Odd Future co-founder explained.
“What an experience being in that office, imagination running wild. have you seen that chessboard?!!!! i had a real late night editing these photos, im happy to finally share this collection and lookbook with you guys. still cant believe it.”
