Ice-T has shared a headshot of himself from his younger days, highlighting how much his appearance has changed over the past few decades.

On Thursday (December 21), the rapper-turned-actor took to Twitter and shared what appears to be a yearbook photograph from back when he was still in high school and going by a different name.

“Crenshaw High School South Central LA,” he captioned the image. “Class of 76 Fro was on point. Sharp as Steak Knives [knife emoji] Young Iceberg [diamond emoji].”

A lot has happened in Ice-T’s life since he graduated from high school in 1976. After getting an early start in the music space as a rapper, he transitioned to film and television in the early 80s.

Earlier this month, the California MC made his debut on Rick And Morty after expressing his admiration for the show several times in the past.

The 65-year-old voiced a character named Magma Q, who appeared on an episode of the sci-fi comedy series that premiered at the start of December.

Back in 2015, show co-creator Dan Harmon based a character on the LA native, which he also voiced.

“I love Ice-T and it would be a fantasy come true to have him come and do Ice-T or Water-T or any other character,” the screenwriter and comedian said in a 2018 interview with GQ.

“He could be Vice President or whatever. It would be great to work with him sometime. I love his voice. That’s why I do a dumb impression of it.”

Later on, he got straight to the point and said: “Ice-T, this is my personal appeal to you. Please come do a voice for Rick and Morty.”

Prior to the cameo, the OG himself took to Twitter to tease his guest spot and wrote: “Check out the next @rickandmorty You might recognize somebody.”
