Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign have announced that they’ll be performing at Rolling Loud California as ¥$ — and they announced it before the festival had a chance to do so.
On Thursday (February 15), West took to his Instagram page to make the announcement, while unveiling a new flier with the lineup that featured ¥$ at the top, thus pushing original header Nicki Minaj down the pack.
“VULTURES COMING TO ROLLING LOUD,” Ye wrote in the caption of the post, prompting the festival to take to X/Twitter to confirm that they’d been added to the lineup.
“YE leaked it before us,” Rolling Loud wrote in a now-deleted post, per Complex, before dropping a post featuring the new lineup and an updated flier featuring Ye and Dolla at the top of the Friday bill.

Back in November, Nicki Minaj, Lil Uzi Vert, and Post Malone were announced as headliners of this year’s Rolling Loud California.
On November 14, the three-day festival series shared the lineup for its West Coast chapter, which is scheduled to take place from March 15–17 at the Hollywood Park Grounds in Inglewood, CA.
In addition to the aforementioned headliners, the event is scheduled to feature heavyweights such as Big Sean, Don Toliver, YG & Tyga, Summer Walker, and Sexyy Red, among countless others. Additionally, one of the late-evening spots on Saturday has been blurred out, and will most-likely be a last-minute surprise reveal.
Just two days later, though, Lil Uzi Vert was replaced in the lineup by Future and Metro Boomin as a headliner after the Philadelphia rapper said they never confirmed their appearance.
“I never said I was doing rolling loud,” Uzi wrote after the lineup was first revealed, naming them as a headliner alongside Post Malone. “Don’t understand why my name is on here @rollingloud.”
Now Future and Metro will hold down the big slot on night three of the festival in March – and they will drop their previously-teased joint album before then, according to Rolling Loud.
“NEW ALBUM FUTURE x METRO BOOMIN BEFORE ROLLING LOUD,” they wrote in the comments of their new lineup announcement.
Metro Boomin first confirmed the yet-to-be-named album with Future back in March, while still riding the wave of success from his Heroes & Villains album, which also features Future on tracks like “Too Many Nights” and “Superhero (Heroes & Villains).”
“Definitely. I would bet on it,” he said of the chances of the joint LP making landfall in the calendar year. “I would definitely bet on it.”
