Lil Baby‘s forthcoming album appears to be on pace for a release in the near future – but the 4PF rapper will seemingly be absent on social media until then.
Taking to Instagram on Friday (December 29) with a carousel of some of his looks in recent months, Baby insinuated he was taking a hiatus until his next effort is officially out.
“Mention My Name An Bring The Whole City Out …… Ps . I’m Gone Until The Album,” he wrote with a mind blown emoji, a blowing steam emoji and a peace sign emoji.

Just earlier this month, Lil Baby dropped off a two-pack of singles and assured fans in his Instagram post to promote them that the “Album Coming Soon !!”
The tracks followed the Atlanta native’s post from a few days earlier when he updated fans about finishing the album.
“Don’t Mind Me I’m Just Living Finishing Up The Album,” he captioned a highlight reel featuring some of his recent travels – including the serenity of the Bahamas where he hit the studio while away from home.
Baby ended the post with a clip of himself playing some unreleased music from the studio, timestamped just shy of 6 a.m. ET in the Bahamas.
“Yea we know, make it quick. The streets been waiting,” an eager fan wrote.
Another added: “What album he haven’t released no album since October 2022 he needs to hurry up and give us fans what we deserve and me I’ve been a fan since late October 2018 when him and Gunna collaborated together on Drip Harder keep doing what you doing proud of him.”
Lil Baby’s 2022 release, It’s Only Me, featured artists such as Nardo Wick, Young Thug, Future, Jeremih and more. The project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 216,000 units sold in the first week and is currently certified platinum.
One rapper has already requested an appearance on Lil Baby’s upcoming album: Boosie Badazz, who drunkenly pleaded with the 4PF boss to land a feature.
“I just saw Lil Baby,” he began. “Put me on the album, n-gga! Tell Lil Baby put me on the album, n-gga […] Real n-ggas getting banned these days — put a real n-gga on the album, Im’a slide, n-gga.”
