Megan Thee Stallion’s big tour announcement has landed her in hot water with Instagram who deemed the post too sexy.

Megan announced her 2024 Hot Girl Summer tour with a cheeky picture — styled to look like a magazine cover — that saw her in a bikini in a swimming pool.

She captioned the photo: ‘HOTTIESSS GET READY TO COME HAVE SOME FUN WITH ME AT THEE HOT GIRL SUMMER TOUR [sun emojis] Get your outfits ready nowww! We getting started this MAY [fire emoji]

‘I told you what cities today to get yall prepared! Check back in on thee 20th for official dates [winking emojis] im so exciteddddd.’

Megan then revealed that Instagram flagged the post, posting a screenshot to her IG Stories of a warning from the social media company that it may go against their recommended guidelines and limit the reach of her account.

She commented on the revelation, saying: “Nooooo it’s just a lil cheek lol.”

Megan announced her Hot Girl Summer Tour in January. “Oh, we’re having the tour this year. The Hot Girl Summer Tour is going to be 2024, summertime.

“I feel like I’ve never been able to be outside doing my own thing during the summer, since like 2019,” she wrote.

“So this is going to be the first time that I drop an album on time for the summer. I do want to give the hotties the Megan Thee Stallion experience.”

Megan’s tour begins in May in Minneapolis before going around the rest of the US including cities such as Chicago, New York, Las Vegas and Atlanta.

Megan will also be stopping off in the UK for four dates as well as Paris, Cologne, Dublin and Amsterdam.

The upcoming tour is Megan’s first headlining solo tour.

She last went on tour supporting Dua Lipa in 2022 and also supported Meek Mill and Future in 2019 for their Legendary Nights run.

This year will also see Megan’s first release through Warner Bros after she departed record label 1501 Certified Entertainment following several years of lawsuits related to her claim that 1501 failed to properly promote her 2022 album Traumazine.

Megan and 1501 officially went their separate ways in October.
