Quavo doesn’t agree with his former groupmate Offset placing Migos at No. 2 in his ranking of best rap groups of all time.
Set’s ranking happened during his appearance on Shannon Sharpe’s Club Shay Shay podcast, published on Wednesday (March 27).
“I’ll give us [number] two because I’m respectful,” he said. “You gotta respect Outkast. They kicked the door down for us down South when it was a time that we weren’t even accepted. I’ma put Outkast first, I’ma put us at two.
“I’ma put Wu-Tang [at three]. The LOX, I give them four. I respect N.W.A and they kicked the gangsta off and everybody in that situation still got some type of motion that’s still here, but I’m young too.”
Taking to his Instagram Story the following day, Quavo seemingly responded by instead placing the group at the top.
“Migos the best group in the world. Hands down long live Take [rocket emoji],” he wrote.

Offset‘s relationship with Quavo has been under scrutiny since the formation of Unc & Phew and TakeOff‘s death, but he insists they’re currently on good terms.
During an appearance on Gillie Da Kid and Wallo’s Million Dollaz Worth of Game earlier this month, the former Migos rapper reiterated his love for his groupmate and argued that neither he nor Quavo have any obligation to address the speculation surrounding their brotherhood.
“I don’t feel like I owe it to people to show how much me and bro love each other … We went through something,” he said. “We don’t have to show you n-ggas smiles and faces, so stop doing that.
“We ain’t on no sucker shit with each other. We both came in this shit together and we both knew that, we understood that, and we lost our brother.”
Offset went on to say that despite going through difficult times, he and Quavo are still “real brothers.”
“I still go through shit, I know bro go through shit,” he said. “N-ggas love each other though, at the end of the day. We men, we real brothers, and we cool with it, so be cool with it.”
He added: “Don’t ever try and turn us against each other. I hate that shit. At the end of the day, it ain’t your business.”
In February 2023, it was rumored that Offset and Quavo got into a fight backstage at the Grammys.
Offset denied the rumors, writing on X: “What tf look like fighting my brother yal n-ggas is crazy.”
The pair later reunited as Migos to honor TakeOff at the 2023 BET Awards, with the surprise set seeing them perform a medley of “Hotel Lobby” and “Bad and Boujee.”
