Tyrese Praises Snoop Dogg For Opening Up After Brother’s Death Leave a comment

Tyrese has offered his condolences to and support for Snoop Dogg, who has been in mourning since his brother’s untimely passing.

In the early hours of Saturday (February 24), the West Coast icon shared a clip of himself visibly sad while smoking to October London and LaToiya William’s “Mulholland Drive.” In the caption, he tagged Bing Worthington, who tragically passed away last week at the age of 44.

Soon after, the R&B singer hopped in the comments section to show his love for Tha Doggfather while applauding his transparency.

“People will never understand the vulnerabilities of an alpha male,” he began. “And people will never understand being so open and honest about the things on our minds and what we are feeling and carrying in real time.…. The start of healing is being honest and transparent….

“If really helps….. Opening up the door for praying and healing emergies…. I love you bob homie and I respect [you in] a real way for taking us these journeys….. ALL OF THE WINS the personal losses and the journey to healing….. I’m at you when I touch down…”

He concluded: “Couldn’t be more proud of you for being so open….. It’s better to get this out! Then to keep it all in and let the devil attack you.….. No sir… We got you KING!!!!!! Stay strong big homie…. Praying for you and your family.”

Earlier this week, Snoop shared a photograph of the departed’s funeral service, at which he and his loved ones could be seen dressed in all red next to a casket.

“Everlastin love Beverly’s boys,” the Long Beach native wrote on social media, referring to their late mother. “Dirty left bing and snoopy [fire emoji, rose emoji, dove emoji] @badabing33 miss that laugh and the way u made us smile keep mama company till we get there [dove emoji, peace-gesture emoji].”

Worthington was Snoop Dogg’s half-brother on his mother’s side. He held a long string of jobs related to the Long Beach native’s career over the years, from tour managing to writing a track on Snoop Dogg Presents: Tha Eastsidaz to selling Snoop-branded skateboards and hot dogs. He was also a member of the rap duo Lifestyle.

Most recently, he was involved in a record label in Canada that he co-founded with Miguel Lopez. The project was a merger between Worthington’s Dogg Records and Lopez’s Urban Heat.

Bing’s death comes less than two and a half years after his and Snoop’s mother, Beverly Tate, passed away.

The “Vato” hitmaker announced the unfortunate news in October 2021 via Instagram with a photo of her smiling and dressed to the nines.

“Thank u god for giving me an angel for a mother,” the California legend wrote in the caption. “TWMA [Til we meet again].”
