Yeat is gearing up for the release of his next album 2093 this month, and it looks like fans can expect some major features from the likes of Childish Gambino and Future.

In a carousel of images the Portland native shared to Instagram on Wednesday (January 31), he hits the studio with Gambino in one photo and hangs on FaceTime with “IDGAF” collaboratorDrake in another.

“2093ISCOMING……. 2.??.24,” he captioned the carousel.

On his stories, he also previewed a new song with Future and on another slide, wrote, “me n gambino going chips for grass and yall would never know.”

2093 will serve as Yeat’s fourth studio album, and comes about a year after his previous effort Afterlyfe. Aside from Yeat’s alter egos Kranky Kranky and Luh Geeky, the LP contained a sole guest appearance from NBA YoungBoy.

Yeat was recently profiled for the Winter 2023/2024 issue of 032 magazine, opening up in a feature appropriately called “American Truths.” In one quote, the music maker shared that he’s not the biggest fan of words.

“I think I can communicate better with numbers than letters sometimes,” he shared. “I mean, on certain days there are no words for me at all. […] For example, I don’t send addresses, I just send coordinates. I can just look at the numbers and know where it is, based on the equator.”

He went on to explain that his preferred method of information exchange even extends to his life as a budding entrepreneur with multiple businesses.

“Often the numbers also relate to some of my businesses and companies,” Yeat said. “I actually have a few, but people don’t know about them because they’re privately held, and I don’t want to deal with shareholders.”

In another outtake shared by Kurrco, Drake‘s new protégé also reaffirmed his previous claims that he was abducted by aliens as a kid.

“That was deadass. It was real,” Yeat said. “I won’t go into too much detail because I’m not sure if they want me to talk about this right now. The aliens, I mean. I will say one thing though – they are really tall – and looked almost human.”

He continued: “I remember everything on the night that it transpired, second for second. I can tell the difference between a dream and reality, and I know I was awake. That’s also my first memory. Everything before that feels fake. Sometimes I think I might not even be from here, because I have dreams about other planets.”
