YFN Lucci is getting ready to finish his time behind bars with a new look.
The Atlanta rapper, recently sentenced in his long-running RICO case, will serve the remaining three and a half months of incarceration with a haircut drastically different than the one he sported just days ago, judging by a new photo that surfaced on Sunday (January 28).
The shot, originally shared by Akademiks, shows Lucci with a shaved head. This is a notable contrast to his appearance in court last Tuesday (January 23), when he sported dreadlocks.

Lucci received a sentence of 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to one count of violation of the Street Gang Terrorism and Prevention Act. However, he will only serve about three and a half months of that behind bars (in addition to the three years in jail he served while awaiting trial) before being eligible for parole.
Immediately prior to receiving the sentence, the rapper addressed the courtroom and apologized to the murder victim’s family as well as his own..
“First off, I wanna say my heart goes out to my friend, James Adams, and his family,” Lucci said, referening the 28-year-old man who was killed in late 2020. Lucci was originally charged with murder for his alleged role as driver in Adams’ shooting.
“Also, I wanna apologize to my family and my friends for putting them through this stressful process. I would also like to apologize to the court. That’s it,” he added.
Before pleading guilty, YFN Lucci was facing numerous felony charges, including murder, which carried a maximum sentence of life without parole.
In a statement to ABC News, Lucci’s legal team said: “After three years of pretrial litigation, more than two weeks of jury selection, and three years of incarceration waiting for his jury trial, today, the prosecution finally relented and dismissed the murder and RICO charges against Rayshawn Bennett.”
Lucci’s attorney, Drew Findling, subsequently made it clear that his client will not be testifying in Young Thug’s YSL RICO case.
The “Everyday We Lit” rapper was among a dozen suspects indicted in a sprawling 105-count racketeering indictment against his YFN collective, which prosecutors allege is a faction of the Bloods gang.
