B.G. Facing Potential Trouble Following Boosie Badazz Performance Leave a comment

B.G. has put himself at risk of returning to prison after his probation officer discovered that the ex-Hot Boy did a performance with Boosie Badazz without permission.

The Guardian is reporting that the rapper (real name Christopher Dorsey) violated his probation when he performed with the Baton Rouge native, because convicted felons are not permitted to associate with other convicted felons as a term and condition of their release.

The offending performance in question happened on February 8, when the Louisiana rappers shared an emotional moment upon reuniting for an appearance at the Wet Las Vegas Adult Ent + After Hours nightclub. In social media clips shared by fans who were present at the time, the rap veterans could be seen embracing each other.

The Hot Boys MC took the stage at the venue later that night, with 21 Savage in the audience.

Another condition of B.G.’s release requires him to “obtain prior written approval … before entering self-employment” — which he did not do when he released Choppers & Bricks with Gucci Mane, who is also a convicted felon.

The New Orleans MC’s probation officer filed for a warrant for arrest on March 21, claiming that B.G. had violated his probation several times. The probation officer also told B.G. to find other methods of employment, to which he reportedly replied, “I’m a rapper. That [is] my profession.”

US District Judge Susie Morgan of New Orleans signed off on the arrest warrant a day later.

“Dorsey was arrested in Las Vegas and appeared in a federal courthouse there on [March 27],” reported the outlet. “After being ordered released on his own recognizance, he was told to appear in federal court in New Orleans as required while officials deliberate whether or not to revoke his supervised release and reincarcerate him.”

Back in September, B.G. announced that he was dropping a new song with Boosie Badazz as a thank you for “holding him down” while he was incarcerated.

Soon after the announcement, Boosie posted a video of himself jamming out to his collaboration with the B. Gizzle on Instagram, captioning it: “BG WENT CRAAAAZZZY !! [eight fire emojis] NEW ALBUM DROPPING 10/6 DELUXE GOIN THRU SONE THANGS “ FUCK THAT I MIGHY DROP THIS BITCH NEXT FRIDAY [100 emoji]WHAT YALL THINK ?”

A few hours after the clip went live, B.G. showed Boosie some love and commented: “Waaahhhh…what’s understood don’t need to be explained..real n-ggas do real things..I love you n-gga..you kept it 1000%with me on that bid..this only the beginning…real n-ggas back in style..”
