Boosie Badazz Goes On Rant After His Hawks Jersey Gets Stolen Leave a comment

Atlanta, GA –

Boosie Badazz got an unpleasant surprise when he saw the Atlanta Hawks beat the Orlando Magic.

The “Wipe Me Down” rapper attended the game at Atlanta’s State Farm Arena on Sunday (February 25) and seemed to be having a great time, dancing and celebrating. But things quickly turned sour.

Boosie later took to social media to complain that a jersey given to him by the Magic’s Cole Anthony was stolen while he was posing for a picture.

“I had a jersey on when I came in the Delta Club,” he explained, referring to the arena’s Delta SKY360° Club.

“Somebody took my damn jersey off my shoulder when I was taking a picture. Cole Anthony gave me that jersey and somebody snatched it off my back.”

Boosie continued, saying that the experience made him determined to never pose for pictures with fans at a game again.

“Man, they lame as hell for that shit, dawg,” he said, while offering up $1,000 as a reward for the jersey’s return.

Some time afterwards, Boosie revealed on his Instagram Stories that he had gotten the jersey back.

“Shit these hoes do for clout, boy. Shit crazy,” he mused. “Clout a muthafucka, boy.”

This is not the first time that Boosie Badazz had lost something precious at a Hawks game.

Last October, the Louisiana rapper attended an NBA game between the Hawks and Minnesota Timberwolves. Visibly excited about being there, the 40-year-old livestreamed himself dancing courtside at the event.

Though he didn’t realize it at the time, one of his several chains slipped off his neck as he continued moving to Missy Elliot’s “Lose Control.” Upon noticing the missing bling, he publicly offered a reward to whoever could help him find the necklace in a since-deleted tweet.

“My chain came off at the game cash reward who ever give it back to me,” he wrote along with a phone number. Considering he took it down soon after, it is unclear if he found the item or if the offer is even still on the table.

Just a little over two weeks prior to that incident, Boosie was faced with a nearly identical problem when he lost a separate chain while on the road.

Taking to his Instagram Story with a PSA, the Baton Rouge native promised between $5,000 and $10,000 to anyone who could help him find the piece.
