GloRilla has never been a stranger to criticism, but her fans’ reaction to one particular song hit different.

That’s the revelation she made during a recent Instagram Live, which dropped on Friday (March 22). There, she revealed that the pushback from “Cha Cha Cha” was a teachable moment.

“Y’all made me feel crazy when I dropped ‘Cha Cha,’” she said. “Like y’all made me feel real crazy about that, and I want y’all to know that. So I came back with a vengeance, you feel me? But you know, I love criticism… I love it until I feel like motherfuckers be dick riding.”

She continued: “You learn from your mistakes and do better. I’m really here to tell you I’m on it, I’m back on it, I’m never getting off it.”

Recently, the Memphis rapper had to fight off more criticism when she came under fire for visiting the White House.

In a recent interview on CNN, the “Yeah Glo!” rapper addressed questions about her recent visit to the nation’s capital, particularly whether she had been approached to assist in voter mobilization efforts.

“That ain’t got nothing to do with me, know what I’m saying. Like, I’m just living my life like it’s golden,” she began, jokingly. “But you know, I’m not going to talk politics but I love the president. I love everybody,” she added.

“At the end of the day, the day gotta end,” she concluded.

On Monday (March 18), the 24-year-old invaded the White House, later surfacing on her Instagram profile where she boasted photographs and videos with President Joe Biden.

“Yeah Joe!” she said to the tune of her blockbuster, “Yeah Glo!

“Well that’s Joe, but yeah, you!” he said in return.

Additionally, the Memphis native also had the opportunity to meet Vice President Kamala Harris.

Although Glo was all smiles upon meeting with the politicians running the country, Meek Mill has sung a different tune about the 46th president of the United States.

“Joe Biden is too old to be our president ‘respectfully’ wtf is going on in the American system that yall pushing this through like it’s okay to trust what we seeing,” he wrote.

“We talking [missiles] … advance technology… mental and physical warfare …. That’s not a lane for the older!” he wrote soon after reports of Biden bombing Northern Iraq despite having previously spoken to the country’s leaders.
