Kid Cudi attended the 75th annual Creative Arts EMMYs this week and he made it a family affair with both his mom and his sister as his dates.
Taking place on Sunday (January 7), the Creative Arts EMMYs precede the primetime EMMYs, which will occur the following Monday. There, Cudi is nominated for his first-ever Emmy in the Best Animated Program category for his Netflix special Entergalactic.
But on Sunday, the Cleveland native was in attendance to present the award for Outstanding Hosted Nonfiction Series Or Special, which ended up going to Lyle Gamm for Stanley Tucci: Searching For Italy.
“My dates for lastnight,” Cudi wrote on Twitter/X the next morning alongside a pair of photos. “My mom and my sister looked STUNNING. Suit designed by me, for MOTR FW24, debuting in a couple weeks.”

JAY-Z was one of the winners of the night, taking home his third Emmy Award for his involvement in Rihanna‘s Super Bowl halftime show.
Alongside Hamish Hamilton, Hov took home the award for Outstanding Directing for a Variety Special for co-directing the February 2023 performance. British-born Hamilton has directed the Super Bowl halftime show annually since 2010; his résumé also includes the Academy Awards, the MTV Video Music Awards and the Summer Olympics.
The 57-year-old previously collaborated with Jay on the 2003 film In Concert and his OTR II Tour with wife Beyoncé, as well as the likes of Eminem, The Weeknd and Alicia Keys.
As for Kid Cudi, his new album will arrive just ahead of his big night at the Primetime EMMYs. Set to drop on Friday (January 12), the 21-track INSANO boasts appearances from heavyweights like Lil Wayne, Travis Scott, Young Thug, A$AP Rocky and the late XXXTENTACION.
There are also guest spots from Pharrell and Lil Yachty, along with an opening cameo from Mr. Gangsta Grillz himself, DJ Drama, on the intro song.
INSANO serves as Kid Cudi’s ninth studio album and the follow-up to 2022’s Entergalactic, which was accompanied by an animated Netflix special of the same name.
Fans have already been treated to a few glimpses of the project, with Cudi previously releasing the singles “At the Party,” which features both Travis Scott and Pharrell, and “Porsche Topless.”
“Most Ain’t Dennis” — a tribute to his longtime manager Dennis Cummings that dropped last September — will also be included on the album, although it appears “ILL WHAT I BLEED” might be saved for the deluxe edition.
